View the poster (PDF)

This workshop is a great introduction to Dhrupad, the oldest existing form
of north Indian classical music-vocal and instrumental. The origin of this
music is linked to the recitation of “Samveda”. The nature of
this music is spiritual inducing a feeling of peace and contemplation in
the listener.
